Is social media a goldmine of information for you too?

6 December last, together with our partner PublicSonar, we organised a very valuable webinar for the departments of Belgian investigation services engaged in monitoring security through online monitoring, among other things. During the webinar, we addressed questions such as:

• How do you make smart and effective use of an infinite amount of data available on the internet and social media?
• How do you immediately recognise the first signs of a (potential) threat from all this data?

Through practical examples, we also showed the 80 participants how the well-known platform PublicSonar can help with the search for valuable information on social media. During the live online demonstration, plenty of questions were asked about the possibilities for Special Interventions departments, Observation Teams and Control Rooms, for example. As a result, the session was experienced as highly interactive and informative. We would therefore like to thank PublicSonar and the participants for their enthusiastic and valuable contribution to the webinar!
