The three levels of Cellebrite Premium

Cellebrite Premium has been supporting digital investigators with password recovery and mobile device unlocking for years. This solution also makes it possible to bypass the locking of Android and iOS devices to access the data present. With an increasing number of locked phones (60% on average) and an increase in newer and more updated models, the need for Premium capabilities is growing.

Until recently, Cellebrite Premium was only available as a standalone product. To make the solution available to a wider audience, Cellebrite recently released two new variants of Cellebrite Premium. We explain these below.

Premium ES
Premium ES, also known as Mobile Elite, enables any UFED (UFED4PC) to use the Premium capabilities through a digital vault in the network, the Enterprise Vault Server (EVS). By installing a Premium Enterprise Vault Server in one central location in the network, any user with a UFED can immediately use Premium features.

Communication between the UFED present and the Vault Server takes place via a secure connection. In short, Premium ES is a highly scalable solution that maintains the chain of evidence, minimises logistical challenges and can significantly increase productivity within an organisation.

Premium as a service
In addition to a standalone product and an Enterprise solution, Cellebrite also offers the possibility of using the software 'as a service'. In this service, the Enterprise Vault Server does not run on your network or in the Cloud, but uses the EVS in the Cloud which is managed by Cellebrite. As a result, you do not need to do any implementation in your own environment or set up any kind of management. A UFED, the Premium adapter and a connection to the EVS in the Cloud, is enough to use this SaaS solution.

Premium as a Service includes the necessary training to get you started with unlocking your devices.
