Mercure V4.3.0 is now available!
Last December, Ockham Solutions, provider of the Mercure software, released a new version of Mercure. This version brings new functionality and improvements in terms of tags and queries. The following describes the main highlights of this release.
Tags
One of the most important new features of this new version is the introduction of "tags". Tags replace markers in Mercure. The markers are not lost, just no longer displayed by default. Tags allow one or more numbers, websites, IMEI, IMSI or licence plates to be marked with a colour. You can also share your tags with other Mercure users (in the Mercure Server version). Furthermore, the tags can be used in most modes (tables, charts, timelines, maps, conversations, etc.) and enhance ease of reading when switching from one mode to another.
Queries
Several changes have been made in the area of queries:
- Repeatable searches: Previously, it was only possible to access the history from Queries (Receivables/Reports) in the non-contextual menu. Now you can also redo searches from the history!
- Favourite searches: In the same search menu, you can now add searches to your favourites to create shortcuts to your favourite searches.
- New query of communication between two zones: This search allows you to search for communications between two geographical areas, i.e. communications between numbers in one area and numbers in another area.
- New "Multi-entity" queries: Multi-entity queries allow simultaneous searches in different types of entities such as communications, events, identities, web activities, and ANPR records. This allows you to display communications and events in the same window.
- Context Searches: With the Context Searches query, you are able to mark an event or communication line as interesting. From the indicated moment onwards, other communications or events can be queried within the case or workspace for a period of time (both before and after) that you can set yourself. Mercure will provide a chronological overview of communications and events.
