Maltego Graph Fundamentals
Maltego is an established name in the OSINT world and one of the most widely used Cyber Threat Intelligence platforms for collecting, aggregating and analyzing online public information.
The software is unique due to the many transforms (advanced API connectors to e.g. VirusTotal, SocialNet, Intel471, OpenCorporates, etc.) that make it possible to simultaneously search for relevant information in a large number of open sources and to display the results as one integrated information package. Furthermore, the platform is characterized by the graphical link analysis interface and broad query options that make it possible to thoroughly analyze the collected data.
In addition, exported data from Maltego can help to significantly enrich the information picture and thus an ongoing investigation in i2 Analyst's Notebook, i2 iBase or Analysis Hub/Analysis Studio.
During the Maltego Graph Fundamentals training, participants are introduced to the Maltego Desktop Client solution. During the day, the participants are provided with the necessary tips, tricks and hands-on experience with navigation and selection, visualization, collection nodes and performing searches, so that the participants learn to use the software effectively and optimally.
The training is given in an interactive way, in which theory and practice are alternated. Topics are explained, after which the participants practice these independently or in pairs by means of short assignments or cases.
